Contact us for Wood cutting boards and charcuterie boards.
In 1994, Steve and Erika Gray established Out of the Woods of Oregon with a modest woodworking facility and enormous dreams. After working for Oregon Fish & Wildlife in forestry and species protection, Steve decided to change careers and self-taught carpentry. Erika assumed the job of everything business when Steve and Erika were married in 1991, while Steve concentrated on production. All of our items are made by them together. One of several processes in the manufacture of our items, Erika designs each item using CAD/CAM software before sending it to production, where Steve utilises our CNC Router to make it. Our suppliers in China and Vietnam collaborate closely with Erika to produce our ceramic items. Each and every one of the items we offer is exclusive to our business; we create all of the accessories. Keira and Bria, Steve and Erika's kids, were born in 1993 and 1994, respectively. To keep their business (and kids) alive, they raised their kids together while splitting their time between work and parenting.
We work to utilise such resources wisely and optimally in addition to employing sustainable ones. Many of our goods were created using the materials that were readily accessible in mind. Many of our pieces may be made using fall-down (scraps) from nearby furniture makers. We turn the little, slender pieces of wood into Spice Racks, Push-Pulls, and Wine Butlers, to mention a few, rather than sending them to the chipper. In addition, we heat our buildings using our wastes and sawdust. Additionally, in addition to a large selection of specialised boards perfect for presenting dips, pates, cheeses, and oils, we also have a comprehensive range of cutting boards for everyday kitchen usage.
